Yesterday I stopped by Appassionata’s studio in the centre of Dublin, a veritable Aladdin’s Cave and the go to destination for all your floral desires!
Whether you are planning your wedding, a stylish corporate event or simply a glamorous private dinner or party, Appassionata deliver everytime with their beautiful creations.
When I arrived the studio was awash with giant white hydrangeas and vibrant pink peonies, I caught up with the lovely Ruth Monahan who was sporting a stunning Alexis Bittar necklace, another must have!
Ruth and her husband Ultan formed Appassionata in 2004, most Dubliners will be familiar with their pretty store on Drury Street which sits alongside independent boutiques and cafes, this street is Dublin’s answer to Westbourne Grove.
However I love to stop by their studio where I can browse amongst the array of vases and vessels and consult with the team on behalf of my clients. Hidden away in Cumberland St South (just off Merrion Square), the studio is always a hive of activity but everyone is welcome to stop by, which is really helpful when you are trying to make a decision for your important day or event.
The sun finally shone yesterday so I took the opportunity to capture a feel of the studio and also their store where you can find great gift ideas such as lightbulb vases in various sizes, the smallest is perfect for just one posy or some sweetpea, or try all three sizes together for a quirky centre piece.
Ruth and Ultan have loyal private supporters and a host of luxury brands who go to them for their weekly flowers and for their special events, The Westbury Hotel, The Shelbourne Hotel, Cartier,Christian Louboutin and Tiffany & Co to name a few…
